• Post classified listings (buy/sell, services, jobs).
• Discover community matrimony matches.
• Communicate securely via an integrated, proprietary real-time chat system.

We follow a strict data minimization principle — collecting only what is essential for application functionality:

• Identity Data: First name, last name, display name, date of birth, gender, profile photograph.
• Contact Data: Primary mobile phone number (account identifier), email address.
• Family & Relationship Data: Names, dates of birth, relationship types, photographs, and optional documents of members added to family trees.
• Matrimony Profile Data: Educational qualifications, profession, income range, physical attributes, horoscope/gothra details, family background, partner expectations.
• Community & Social Data: User posts, event listings, classified postings, RSVP status.
• Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, crash diagnostics.
• Communication Data: Messages exchanged via our proprietary built-in chat engine (no third-party SDK access).
• Transaction & Activity Data: Interaction logs, classified inquiries, event responses.

Data is used exclusively to operate and enhance Nigama Connect:

• Authentication: Account creation, OTP validation, and credential security.
• Family Tree Processing: Generational linking, parent/child relationships, invite code dispatch.
• Community Networking: Connecting verified relatives and friends.
• Matrimony Matching: Filter-based profile discovery based on stated preferences.
• Event Coordination: RSVP tracking, headcount aggregation, reminder alerts.

• Safety & Moderation: Detecting abuse, preventing unauthorized access, and upholding community safety.

Processing occurs strictly under recognized legal bases under the DPDP Act 2023:

2. Contractual Necessity: Processing required to deliver the core service features requested by the user.

• User Authorship: Users are solely responsible for the factual accuracy of family tree entries, relationship tags, dates of birth, and names.
• Provisional Members: Adding temporary members requires that the user possesses appropriate family consent.
• Platform Exoneration: Nigama Connect acts solely as a technological platform and disclaims liability for incorrect user-entered dates, names, or genealogical claims.

Deletion Process

Navigate to Profile ➔ Edit Profile ➔ Delete Account and verify identity via OTP sent to registered email.

Erasure Scope

• Profile data, photos, preferences, and personal media permanently erased from active servers within 30 days.
• Matrimony profiles and classified posts deactivated immediately.
• Chat messages removed from active servers.
• Backups fully purged across standard retention rotation cycles.

• Nigama Connect is strictly for users 18 years of age and older.
• Independent registration by minors is prohibited.
• Minor family members may only be recorded as dependent nodes within adult family trees under parental authority.
• Accounts discovered to be operated by unsupervised minors will be suspended immediately.

We maintain clear, statutory retention limits across all data categories:

• Containment: Immediate isolation of affected servers.
• Forensic Audit: Determination of incident scope within 24 hours.
• Notification: Direct alert to impacted users and regulatory authorities within 72 hours where required by law.
• Remediation: Immediate vulnerability patching and security audit.

• Essential Session Tokens: Maintain authenticated session state.
• Security Tokens: Prevent CSRF attacks and detect unauthorized logins.
• Zero Commercial Trackers: No third-party ad pixels, cross-site trackers, or commercial cookies.

Data is stored across AWS and Google Cloud regional clusters adhering to DPDP Act 2023 international transfer guidelines and contractual safety covenants.

• Changes communicated via in-app notifications and updated "Effective Date".

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Nigama Connect application, you ("User") enter into a legally binding agreement with Nigama Connect Private Limited ("Company"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of all features, services, and software provided on Android and iOS platforms.

Providing your phone number/email and clicking "Agree & Continue" constitutes express legal acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

To register on Nigama Connect, users must fulfill all eligibility criteria:

1. Age Threshold: Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Authentic Identity: Must provide accurate, complete, and truthful personal details (real name, valid mobile number, correct DOB).
3. Account Uniqueness: Limited strictly to one account per individual.
4. No Prior Bans: Must not have been previously suspended or terminated for policy violations.
5. No Impersonation: Impersonating any individual or entity is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material legal breach.

• Confidentiality of Credentials: Users are solely responsible for protecting OTPs, phone numbers, and login tokens.
• Liability for Actions: All activities executed under a user's account are deemed authorized by the account holder.
• Shared Device Hygiene: Users must explicitly log out when accessing the application on public or shared devices.
• Non-Transferability: Accounts cannot be sold, assigned, or transferred to third parties.
• Reporting Breaches: Users must immediately notify Nigama Connect upon suspecting unauthorized account access.

Users must strictly abstain from:

1. Illegal Actions: Violating any local, state, national, or international statute.
2. False Claims & Impersonation: Fabricating identities, genealogies, or credentials.
3. Harassment & Bullying: Abusive, threatening, intimidating, or defamatory conduct.
4. Obscene & Harmful Content: Posting sexually explicit, violent, or hateful materials.
5. Unauthorized Access: Hacking, penetration attempts, or unauthorized access to system databases.
6. Platform Manipulation: Automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or load-stress attacks.
7. Data Scraping: Harvesting user profiles, contact numbers, or photos without written consent.
8. Commercial Fraud: Misrepresenting matrimonial details, jobs, or classified listings.
9. Malware Injection: Uploading viruses, trojans, ransomware, or malicious code.
10. Unsolicited Spam: Disseminating commercial advertisements or broadcast spam.
11. Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse-engineering, or disassembling the application codebase.
12. Bypassing Protections: Circumventing authentication, rate limiters, or encryption controls.

• User Authorship: Users retain copyright ownership over photos, stories, and family content uploaded by them.
• Platform License: Users grant Nigama Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and render content solely to deliver platform services.
• Warranty of Non-Infringement: Users warrant that their content does not infringe upon third-party copyrights or privacy rights.
• Content Removal Rights: Nigama Connect reserves the right to remove or disable content that violates these Terms or Community Guidelines.

• Genealogical Accuracy: Nigama Connect is a platform provider and does not independently audit family tree claims.
• Family Disagreements: In the event of lineage disputes between relatives, users must resolve matters amicably; Nigama Connect reserves the right to isolate disputed branches.

All software, interfaces, graphics, logos, trademarks, database architectures, and algorithms are the proprietary property of Nigama Connect Private Limited.

Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable personal license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• "As-Is" Service: The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted uptime.
• Consequential Damages Cap: Nigama Connect Private Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from user error, data inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

• Nigama Connect may modify, update, or discontinue features with appropriate notice.
• Accounts violating Terms or Community Guidelines may be suspended or terminated immediately without refund.

• Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Arbitration: Disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in India under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 in Hyderabad, Telangana.
